Why Choose Merino Wool?
A1.Moisture Wicking
Merino wool boasts exceptional moisture-wicking properties, swiftly absorbing sweat from the body’s surface and expelling it. This aids in preventing discomfort and the development of odors resulting from excessive perspiration, ensuring you stay dry and comfortable during physical activities.
A2.Comfort
Merino wool is renowned for being soft, fine, and gentle on the skin, rendering it highly comfortable to wear. It won’t induce skin itching or discomfort, making it ideal for extended periods of wear.
A3.Anti-Odor
Thanks to its inherent odor-controlling properties, Merino wool proves an excellent choice for activities involving profuse sweating. This quality also ensures your T-shirt remains fresh and clean, reducing the need for frequent washing.
A4.Temperature Regulation
Merino wool’s natural insulating properties efficiently regulate body temperature. It keeps you warm in cold conditions and cool in hot weather, making it suitable for year-round wear.
A5.Versatility
Merino wool T-shirts are versatile and adaptable, suitable for a wide range of activities, from casual wear to outdoor sports, hiking, and travel. You can easily dress them up or down according to your requirements.
A6.Natural Materials
Merino wool is a renewable and biodegradable resource, making it a more sustainable choice compared to synthetic materials. It’s environmentally friendly and contributes to reducing our dependence on synthetic materials.

If you like loose clothing, go up one size!
Especially after washing per instructions.
I recommend ordering one size larger if you plan on wearing alone.
You could probably use this as a base layer and be fine, just a little tight.
This T is half as expensive as that big-name-branded one. Why? This one has fewer panels, so it’s more of an ordinary fit, probably a good thing when you’ve bulked up a bit since your last trip. It fits just like a size Large T meant for the outdoors should: trim, for me at 6’1” (now) 200 lbs, a size L in all US outdoor brands my whole adult life. Other than the additional panels for a slightly better/trimmer fit and the logo, I don’t see why the other T I used would cost double. The seams on this one all appear to be well done.
I immediately threw this on and did a little biking to bouldering nearby. Worked up a sweat on a nice December day in NYC around 50 degrees. This T was PERFECT. Cotton would have been horrible, polyester smelly. I feel like wool somehow draws the stink away from the body and evaporates it, while polyesters only bake it in. You don’t do 21 straight days in the same polyester T shirt…
Anyhow, this one has a perfect weight to it, about the same as a cotton T but thicker than your average polyester workout T.
Bottom line: great product, I’ll probably buy more.
The shirt fits well (Bought a medium) it feels different, a little bit scratchy, reminding you it's wool. It still felt really good, and I never had that wet feeling from a cotton shirt once you got hot. I actually tried it for a few days without washing, and with minor exertion on my part, it never actually smelled. After my wife washed and dried it, it shrank, but very little. I ended up buying two more.
IF you pass that first major test then this is a near perfect t-shirt. Warm in winter, cool in summer (yes I know you don't believe me but try it. I live in TX, have worn this to work out in 107F that's really hot and it's better breathability and temp control than a cotton or one of those miracle poly shirts.
In winter, you can wear it as an under or outer layer for great temp control.
As soon as I had worn this one a few times, I ordered 2 more. You will too.
I note this is 100% Merino wool, so it doesn't have the nylon reinforcement like various blends such as Smart Wool. I'll be careful never to wash this in hot water, as I'd expect shrinkage.
The wool felt like other Merino garments I've worn. Only the tiniest bit scratchy, if I really focus my attention on that. But in actual wear it's completely comfortable for me.
Highly recommended, especially in view of its reasonable price.
The fit is good, sort of an athletic cut. The length from neck to waist though, is 27”, which is an inch or two shorter than usual, but it goes below my beltline and it stays tucked in.
The material is light, and has a nice soft feel to it. The springy, stretchiness makes me think there might be a bit of spandex in there too – but not an issue for now. I’m in upstate NY, and with short sleeves it’s definitely not heavy enough for a winter base layer. I bought it thinking of a 3 season shirt and it seems to be quite up to that task. Too bad they didn’t list the fabric weight anywhere.
Enclosed coupon in the package offers a free pair of merino wool socks if you go to a website (merinoprotects.com/sample). But guess what you get = a WordPress template, with mostly broken/non—existent links and pages. The only product listed in any of the categories is a mens long sleeve shirt – period. Some of the links that do work, lead you to a working website for ‘icebreaker’ so there must be some sort of connection here.
Happy so far (3 days wearing) considering the price point.
I’ve put it to the test with several workouts. It witch’s moisture well and dries relatively quickly. The anti microbial properties are also great as I’ve managed to wear it several times between washing (even after very sweaty workouts) with no lingering odors.
The only drawback is some pilling which takes away from the look of the shirt. I have 4 other wool shirts and none of them have pilled like this one.
